McDonough, Assembly Minority Outline ‘Budget Blueprint for a Better NY’

Assemblyman Dave McDonough (R,C,I-Merrick), along with the Assembly Minority Conference, Wednesday introduced the ‘Budget Blueprint for a Better NY,’ a set of funding and tax cut proposals aimed at helping students, homeowners, small businesses, libraries, direct care workers and middle-class families.

“This is about getting New York back on the right track ahead of budget negotiations,” McDonough said. “The first few months in Albany have been disappointing as radical far-left interests have hijacked the Legislature and ignored the real issues facing many residents. We are facing a mass exodus in our state which can’t be solved by providing free college tuition to illegal aliens or giving a pay raise to incarcerated felons. This is a comprehensive list that both the Majority and Minority can support and I am calling on legislative leaders and Gov. Cuomo to join us in championing these initiatives.”
