Assemblymember Barrett: Regional Economic Development Councils Award Vital Funding for Our Communities

“Today, our region was awarded over $130 million in vital funding by the Regional Economic Development Council in order to continue with smart investments that will help our economy advance by, spurring job creation, technological innovation, and promoting tourism throughout the area. Job creation and making sure our communities thrive is a top priority of mine. I look forward to continue working with local leaders to keep our economic development initiatives moving forward.”
Assemblymember Barrett represents the 106th Assembly District. This district includes communities in both Columbia and Dutchess counties. Columbia County belongs to the Capital Region REDC and Dutchess County belongs to the Hudson Valley REDC.
