Assemblyman Fred W. Thiele, Jr. (I, D, WF-Sag Harbor) today announced that on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 4:00 PM, the New York State Public Service Commission (PSC) will hold a proceeding for PSEG-LI customers to testify to their experience in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Isaias. This public forum follows an investigation conducted by the PSC into the failures of New York's electric utilities to adequately prepare for and respond to Tropical Storm Isaias, which resulted in 420,000 PSEG-LI customers without power and a communications system that failed within the first hour. Residents, businesses and localities are encouraged to submit statements.
