Assemblymember Bronson: “Cradle to Career” Child Development Creates Opportunities

“Well-established evidence shows that high quality childcare opportunities for working families lead to improved academic readiness for children, better health and greater workplace productivity. That is why I am committed to ensure that our children have every opportunity they deserve from “cradle to career.” Today, the Assembly took steps to address the many issues that surround child care, including accessibility and affordability. With the Family First package passed today we also stood with families to provide paid leave. Putting children and families first is a priority for me and today’s action is a step in the right direction to make sure we are able to fulfill that commitment.”
