“Our task during this year of all years was simple, to help put an end to the skyrocketing prices and rising crime affecting the well-being of millions of New Yorkers,” said Gallahan. “Sadly, the Majority lawmakers failed to meaningfully consider any of our Conference's proposals to lower prices and restore order on our streets, and now we’ll all be made to pay the price for their inaction. At the pump, in the grocery store and in our neighborhoods, we will continue to feel the effects of the failings of one-party rule.”
