Gallahan: New Traffic Safety Memorial Law Will Help Reduce Vehicle-Related Deaths Statewide

Assemblyman Jeff Gallahan (R,C-Manchester) supports Assembly Bill A.3938, also known as the ‘Alexander John Smullen Traffic Safety Memorial Law.’ This bill would establish a traffic safety memorial sign program to publicly memorialize the victims of fatal vehicle collisions and also help raise awareness about the serious consequences of impaired, reckless or distracted driving.

“Prioritizing traffic safety to keep both drivers and pedestrians safe statewide is critical. It is an honor to stand with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to support the ‘Alexander John Smullen Traffic Safety Memorial Law’ to help educate the public, memorialize the victims of vehicle-related deaths and reduce future vehicle accidents.”
