Assemblymember Aubry: Assembly Majority, Uber Eats Partner to Donate Meals to Frontline Workers
Families in the 35th Assembly District are at the epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic, including seniors and immigrants who have been hit particularly hard. During these unprecedented times, workers at frontline organizations and nonprofits have continued to provide much-needed assistance to the most vulnerable New Yorkers. These heroes deserve our praises, but they also need our help too.
To that end, the Assembly Majority has partnered with Uber Eats to donate 8,000 meals to the workers of these critical organizations, our small way of showing gratitude. It's important that we honor and support those whove been working hard to keep families fed, provide at-risk individuals a safe place to sleep at night and help those who are struggling during this crisis. I want to thank Uber for its generosity and Speaker Carl Heastie for making this donation happen.
