Lemondes Applauds Passage Of Bill To Strengthen Upstate Flood Mitigation Task Force

This week, the New York State Assembly passed legislation, co-sponsored by Assemblyman John Lemonades (R,C,I- Lafayette), to authorize the Upstate Flood Mitigation Task Force and ensure their ability to provide invaluable emergency services for upstate New York.

“This bill is a big win for our upstate families and communities,” said Lemondes. “Emergency preparedness and protecting our citizens from the impact of severe flooding requires continuous study and evolution of strategies. I am proud to have been able to co-sponsor this legislation to ensure the Upstate Flood Mitigation Task Force has the support and authority they need to keep us safe.”
