Brown: New York City Politicians Propose To Fund Weed Dispensaries

A statement from Assemblyman Keith P. Brown (R,C-Northport)

“While our state is experiencing economic uncertainty, the Assembly Majority wants to use our hard-earned tax dollars, among other things, to open retail cannabis dispensaries and increase the state budget an additional $14 Billion over last year’s record breaking budget – to make it the most by far in state history. We can all agree that gas prices keep rising and inflation is a threat to hard-working New Yorkers. Giving away tax dollars to put weed on the streets should not be a priority. For this, among other reasons, I voted against this misguided budget yesterday.”
