Assemblyman Keith P. Brown (R,C-Northport) today announced another successful annual Blood Drive event in Northport on Wednesday, June 15 at the Northport Public Library. Brown collaborated with the New York Blood Center, one of the largest independent, community-based, nonprofit blood centers in the U.S. The blood donated will be used to help many patients in desperate need of it. 

“Thank you to New York Blood Center, the Northport Public Library and the many residents who helped by donating blood,” said Brown. “Donating blood is crucial to potentially saving the lives of patients undergoing critical surgeries, organ transplants, cancer treatments and other chronic illnesses.”
