Assemblyman Ken Blankenbush today offered his gratitude for the service of the members of the 10th Mountain Division, 1st Brigade Combat Team, who begin arriving home this afternoon after 11 months serving in Afghanistan.

“I’d like to offer my sincere gratitude and appreciation for the service of the brave men and women of the 10th Mountain Division, 1st Brigade Combat Team. As a veteran, I understand how hard it is to be away from family and friends for a year or more and for several tours of duty. Our courageous servicemen and women give up years away from home to fight for our country and defend our freedom. I thank you for your noble sacrifices and welcome you home to Fort Drum,” said Blankenbush.
