Blankenbush Votes To Ensure Next AG Will Be Selected In Ballot Box, Not Back Room

A Statement by Assemblyman Ken Blankenbush (R,C,I-Black River)

“Since Schneiderman resigned, it’s been my position that the people of New York State should choose the next attorney general on Election Day in November. I have every confidence that Barbara Underwood will continue to lead the office effectively on an interim basis until January. I’m hopeful that voters will choose an attorney general who possesses integrity, respect and high character. I’m hopeful that New Yorkers will seize an opportunity to bring balance to Albany and vote for a candidate in November who will actually take on corrupt politicians from New York City.
