Assemblyman Zebrowski Opens Office for Toys for Tots Holiday Drive

Assemblyman Ken Zebrowski’s (D-New City) district office will be a Toys for Tots drop-off location in the weeks leading up to this year’s holiday season. New, unwrapped toy donations are being accepted at his district office at 67 North Main St., New City.

“If you are able to make a donation, even one toy, it’s a big help to this great program,” Zebrowski said. “Giving a needy child the chance to unwrap a present this holiday season makes all the difference.”

This will be the fifth year that Zebrowski’s office hosts the annual holiday toy drive started by United States Marine Corps Major Bill Hendricks in 1947. Today, the Toys for Tots Program is run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve and the Marine Toys for Tots charity foundation. Over the last 62 years, the program distributed more that 400 million toys to over 188 million needy children.

“I am happy to lend my support to the Toys for Tots program again this year,” Zebrowski said. “The impact it has on kids across the nation is immeasurable and I am proud to say we have seen a lot of support in Rockland County. Hopefully, we’ll have another good year.”
