Assemblyman Kevin Byrne (R,C,REF-Mahopac) is pleased to announce that he is partnering with the American Red Cross and the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department to host a blood drive on Tuesday, September 6th from 12P.M.-5P.M. The blood drive will take place at the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department, located on 741 US-6, Mahopac, NY 10541.
“Donating blood is one of the simplest yet meaningful ways you can help out in our community,” said Byrne. “It doesn’t take long and is a relatively small sacrifice that can be lifesaving. Blood banks are always in need of donations, so please consider signing up to donate blood today. I plan to donate again that day and hope to see you there!”
To schedule an appointment, residents are being asked to call 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800 733-2767), or schedule online at www.redcrossblood.org and use the sponsor code “Mahopac.” Appointments Walk ins will only be taken if there is room the day of the drive.(More details included in the attached flyer)
