Assemblyman Kevin Byrne (R,C,I,SAM,ROS-Mahopac) is pleased to announce he will be hosting a blood drive in Yorktown on Thursday, Oct. 14 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event will take place at the Albert A. Capellini Community and Cultural Center Gym at 1974 Commerce Street, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598 in conjunction with the American Red Cross and the AFC Urgent Care.

To give blood you must:

• Bring valid photo or signature identification
• Weight at least 110 lbs
• Be age 16-75 (16 year-olds must have permission slip)
• East well and be hydrated prior to an appointment
• Can give blood 3 months after getting tattoo in NYS
