"New York has been studying natural gas drilling for four-and-a-half years. That's enough time for a young New Yorker to graduate from high school or college, start looking for a job, and decide to move out of state because there are few opportunities in New York. "Mayor Bloomberg believes Big Gulps are dangerous for public consumption, but supports safe natural gas drilling. Pennsylvania and other states are drilling, and they're doing it safely. New Yorkers need jobs, and we can't continue to drag our feet on this. We're ready to start. It is being done safely across the country. Let's stop playing politics and get to work."
