Health Commissioner Comes and Goes, But No Fracking Decision

Statement on Cuomo's Health Commissioner Resignation from Assemblyman Kieran Michael Lalor (R,C,I - Fishkill)

"What was Commissioner Shah doing all this time? He leaves office with no decision, one way or the other, on fracking. While he collected his big government salary, the Southern Tier's economy has been dying because he couldn't make a decision. Shah fiddled on fracking because Governor Cuomo was playing politics. The next health commissioner needs to get to work and approve fracking. It's done safely throughout the country. We can do it safely here in New York. We just need leaders who aren't playing to their fringe political allies in Manhattan."
