Lalor: Get Your Story Straight for the Feds, Gov. Cuomo

Statement on Cuomo's Confused Moreland Answers from Assemblyman Kieran Michael Lalor (R,C,I - Fishkill)

"Governor Cuomo needs to get his story straight. First, he said his anti-corruption commission was independent. Last week, after a New York Times exposé, he said the commission was never meant to be independent. Today, he's trying again to claim that the commission was independent. Well, what was it governor? You better get your story straight for the federal investigators, governor."

"Cuomo has been dishonest about the Moreland Commission from Day One. Now he's caught in his own confused maze of lies. This can't continue. Cuomo needs to release all of his office's communications about Moreland. He should agree to fully cooperate with the federal investigation of the commission and his interference. Cuomo's corruption cover-up undermines the public's faith in government. The governor should stop spinning and come clean. After all, if he keeps spinning this when he talks to the federal investigators, he's liable to end up in even more trouble."
