Armed Forces Day Event in Fishkill: Saturday, May 16th

Trent Atkinson served in the U.S. Army for 12 years, including a deployment to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II. He served as a Technical Engineer, achieving the rank of Sergeant First Class (E-7). His decorations include the Combat Action Badge, Army Commendation (3), Army Achievement Medal (3), Army Reserve Achievement Medal (2), National Defense Service Medal (2), Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Armed Services Reserve Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon (2), Army Service Ribbon, and Army Reserves Overseas Training Ribbon (3). Atkinson attended Dutchess Community College, studying Engineering Science. He is a Project Engineer with Lynn Utilities Services and an Associate Real Estate Broker with Century 21 Alliance. He lives in Fishkill with his wife, Patty, their daughter, Harper (age 5), and their son, Hudson (age 3). Atkinson's brother, Todd, is currently serving as a Major in the 411TH Engineer Brigade, which just recently returned from a 100-month deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
