Dear Friend

As we distribute the last of the frozen turkeys and boxes of food to our district food pantries, thanks must be given to all those who participated! With your generous donations, our office provided many non-perishables, as well as Thanksgiving staples, to local families in need around the 105th Assembly District.

Special thanks to AT&T, represented by Director of External Affairs Ed Bergstraesser, which contributed $5,000 to the Pawling Resource Center, in order to help the Center's food pantry and its outreach programs during the busy holiday season. We also thank Terry Ariano, Executive Director of the Pawling Resource Center, Reverend Mark Allen of the Christ Church on Quaker Hill and Dutchess County Sheriff Butch Anderson for their assistance to the Pawling Resource Center.

We cannot forget to acknowledge the hard work and organizational efforts at our other area food pantries. Linda Hunt and her team at the St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry are organizing hundreds of Thanksgiving food baskets, on top of their usual work, to provide for many families in the East Fishkill and Wappingers area. Lori Vincent and the wonderful volunteers at the Center of Compassion were unloading our donations, along with many others, on our Dover Plains stop, ensuring that the residents of our Assembly district have healthy meals on their tables.
