- We must speak up against the dangerous and extreme temperatures many New Yorkers are forced to work in. From employees who work in fast food, trucking, construction and agriculture, health and safety should be a main priority for all employees across the state.
- This past weekend, NYSABPRHAL hosted their 52nd annual Legislative Conference. This gave constituents the opportunity to listen and share stories about issues going on in their communities.
- National Caregivers Day provides us the opportunity to recognize and celebrate our local heroes who’ve done so much for our communities! Through sickness and pain, our caregivers are always there. They are the backbones of our healthcare system and should always have our support. Thank you to Triboro Center and The American Heart Association for all that they do for our constituents!
- It was an honor spending time with my partners in government for the Just Pay Human Services Workers Rally. My two bills that will raise the wage for human services workers and create a human services wage board will support these essential workers who do so much for our communities. Just Pay period!
