Assemblywoman Latoya Joyner Secures Funding for Special Needs Programming for Bronx School

Improving quality education for local children, Assemblywoman Latoya Joyner (D-Bronx, 77th AD) secured funding in the amount of $150,000 to enhance critical support and educational services for students with special needs at P.S. 035 Franz Siegel (261 East 163 Street, Bronx, NY 10451). With the help of P.S. 035 Franz Siegel Principal Graciela Navarro, Assemblywoman Joyner will present a ceremonial check to New York City-based organization INCLUDEnyc, formerly known as Resources for Children With Special Needs (RCSN). The additional aid will be directed to INCLUDEnyc to establish beneficial programming and services for the school’s special needs population.

“Educating and providing quality support services to children with special needs is key for families in our very diverse community in the Bronx,” said Assemblywoman Joyner. “I am happy to present this check to INCLUDEnyc so that the organization can assist Principal Navarro and the excellent school community of P.S. 035 Franz Siegel by offering programs and services to our district’s growing population of special needs students.”
