Assemblywoman Marianne Buttenschon Announces Funding for Pool at the Utica Center for Development

Assemblywoman Marianne Buttenschon released the following statement today:

“Today Governor Hochul announced that the Utica Center for Development has been awarded up to $3 million for the reconstruction of a community pool within the former YWCA property in Utica. This funding was awarded through the New York Statewide Investment in More Swimming (NY SWIMS) initiative, which aims to expand access to safe and reliable public swimming facilities in underserved areas. I want to thank the Governor and my fellow legislators for supporting this important request. The Utica Center for Development is a more than deserving organization that labors every day to support our Veterans, their families, and our community as a whole. I am so proud of the amazing work that they do, and I am grateful that they received this funding.”
