Johns: ECC Technologies Expansion Is Great News For District

February 4, 2011

Assemblyman Mark Johns (R,C-Webster) joined ECC Technologies in Penfield to celebrate the grand opening of their new headquarters. The company moved its operations to the new site in order to accommodate the firm’s growth.

“ECC Technologies has been a wonderful part of our community in Fairport and their need for expansion represents the success of the company and its local employees,” said Johns. “The people of my district are intelligent and inventive and it’s clear that the company has thrived on our local talent. I congratulate them all.”

ECC Technologies is a leading consulting firm in technological and communications consulting. The company provides planning, design, engineering, implementation and support services to a variety of organizations from public to private enterprises. Worldwide, the company has contributed services to projects with a total value in excess of $1 billion.

Johns also would like to commend the efforts from the Monroe County Industrial Development Agency, Canandaigua National Bank & Trust, and the Town of Penfield. He believes public and private partnerships, like that of ECC Technologies, are critical to turning around and supporting economic growth in the region.
