Thanksgiving Food Distributions Set for Queensbury, Whitehall, and Plattsburg
Matt Simpson (R,C-Adirondack) will join volunteers this Saturday, November 22, at Whitehall Junior-Senior High School to help distribute groceries to families in need during the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York’s annual Thanksgiving Food Distribution.
The drive-through event begins at 10:00 a.m. at 87 Buckley Road, Whitehall, NY 12887, and will continue while supplies last. One food package will be provided per vehicle on a first-come, first-served basis. Similar distributions will also take place the same morning at the Salvation Army in Glens Falls and the Institute for Advanced Manufacturing at Clinton Community College in Plattsburgh.
“Helping our neighbors put food on the table, especially during the holidays, is what community is all about,” said Simpson. “I’m proud to roll up my sleeves alongside the incredible volunteers from the Regional Food Bank and Whitehall Central School District to make sure no family in the 114th District goes without this Thanksgiving.”
