Simpson & Tedisco Welcome Corinth Sixth Graders to State Capitol
Assemblyman Matt Simpson (R,C-Adirondack) and Sen. Jim Tedisco (R,C-44th Senate District) welcomed sixth-grade students from Corinth Central School District to the New York State Capitol today for a tour and educational visit. The students had the opportunity to explore the historic Capitol building, learn about state government and meet with their local legislators.
βIt was a pleasure welcoming the bright and curious sixth graders from Corinth to Albany today,β said Simpson. βI enjoyed their questions and sharing stories with the senator. These are our future leaders, and investing time in their civic education is one of the best things we can do for our state. Thank you to the students and teachers from Corinth for making the trip down to Albany!β
