Assemblyman Matt Simpson (R,C,I-Horicon) continues to call on the governor for more information about vaccine distribution. On the third day of the governor’s annual State of the State Address, he focused completely on green energy. While Simpson is supportive of many renewable energy policies, he knows that emergency, pressing issues regarding the COVID-19 pandemic deserve much more attention from the governor.

“Why is the governor making this State of the State a four-day show? There is still so much confusion regarding vaccine distribution. There are still countless small business owners on the brink, and thousands of families out of work. The governor should singularly be focused on accelerating vaccine distribution and getting our economy moving again. I don’t think he has time for four days of lectures, and neither do the people I represent,” said Simpson.
