“The final budget deal just released by the governor is a slap in the face to hard-working New Yorkers. The governor, Senate and Assembly Majorities are adding taxes to the already highest-taxed state in the country.

“In addition to new taxes, this budget deal will send $2 billion to undocumented immigrants and workers. This is double the amount we are sending to our small businesses. That is totally outrageous.

“I know I am new to Albany, but this is a new low and I will continue to fight for North Country workers and those being left behind by the Senate and Assembly Majority and the governor.”
