Assemblyman Durso Hosts a Blood Drive and Toy Collection in West Islip

Assemblyman Michael Durso (R-Massapequa Park), hosted a blood drive and toy collection in December together with the West Islip Fire Department, The Emily Meyer Foundation, and the New York Blood Center to bring hope to hospitalized children this holiday season.

“The Covid-19 pandemic has caused so much hardship for individuals and families across Long Island.Combining these two events was a way to give back this holiday season by bringing hope and smiles to hospitalized children undergoing medical treatment,” said Assemblyman Durso.
