Assemblyman Durso to Hold a Free Narcan Training Event

New York State Assemblyman Michael Durso, in coordination with the West Islip Fire Department, the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office, and Suffolk County EMS, will be holding a Free Narcan Training Event on Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the West Islip Fire Department.This program will be presented by a Suffolk County Sherriff’s Office training specialist and will include an opiate informational presentation, overdose risk factors, recognizing and responding to an overdose, and administration of Naloxone (Narcan).

Registration is required. Upon registration each participant will receive a free Narcan kit at the event. To reserve your seat, please call Assemblyman Durso’s district office at 516-541-4598.
