Assemblyman Michael Durso (R-Massapequa Park), in partnership with the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP Suffolk), recently held a free Medicare 101 Seminar for seniors at the Spangle Drive Senior Center in North Babylon.

RSVP Suffolk Executive Director Maryflorence Brennan and Health Insurance Information Counseling and Assistance Program (HIICAP) Coordinator Denise Passarelli explained the basics of Medicare, including Parts A, B, C & D, Medicare Savings Program, Extra Help, and EPIC. The program also reviewed upcoming changes ahead of the Annual Open Enrollment Period.
