New York State Assemblyman Michael Durso (R-Massapequa Park) recently visited the West Babylon Volunteer Fire Department to announce the delivery of $70,000 in state grant funding that he was able to secure to fund a heavy response vehicle for the department.

“Providing our firefighters and first responders with the resources they need in emergency situations is essential,” said Assemblyman Durso. “Quick response times can ensure public safety and save lives.”
