Norris Invites All to Donate Winter Clothing Items, Help Keep Neighbors in Need Warmer This Winter
Assemblyman Mike Norris (R,C-Lockport) is hosting the 144th Assembly District’s annual Winter Clothing Drive, helping to keep members of the community warmer this winter with all donations staying within Western New York. All types of new or gently used warm winter clothing items can be donated but boots, particularly children’s boots, are in high demand.
“As many people are struggling in this economy, I know our community will continue its tradition of generosity this winter to help with the increase of people in need – especially when it comes to children’s items,” said Norris. “As you’re looking to make space in your closets, please consider donating your unused or outgrown items to this drive as it truly benefits people in need right here in our community.”
Sought-often items include boots, coats, mittens/gloves, hats and scarves. The drive will run from November 15 until December 15 and items can be dropped off at Assemblyman Norris’ office located at 8180 Main Street in Clarence or at any of the following partnering locations throughout the Assembly District, including:
