“New York needs to get back to the basics. New York leads the nation in population loss, is facing a $4.3 billion deficit and continues to have significant costs due to the influx of illegal aliens. Unfortunately, I heard very little from the governor on how the state is going to tackle the financial and economic crisis here in New York. It’s way past time for fundamental fiscal and economic reform and the evidence is clear that many taxpayers have had enough by packing their bags and simply leaving our state. We must reverse course now and stop this population exodus and the unsustainable amount of taxes, burdensome regulations and out-of-control spending.”
