Assemblyman Mike Norris (R,C-Lockport) is sponsoring another round of lifesaving hands-only CPR classes at the upcoming community blood drive he is holding with the South Lockport Fire Company and Lockport Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at the South Lockport Fire Hall. The drive will be held from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and the free, 30-minute-long hands-only CPR classes are offered at 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m. by reservation.

“In today’s world you never know when tragedy will strike, and we found the public has a huge desire to become better prepared for emergencies with trainings and to learn lifesaving skills like hands-free CPR,” said Norris. “I am proud to be able to partner with our fire companies, health care professionals and the American Red Cross to provide these trainings to the community so we all have the opportunity to be better prepared.”
