Assemblyman Mike Norris (R,C,I,Ref-Lockport) was named to the New York Farm Bureau’s 2019 “Circle of Friends,” a designation the organization awards to state lawmakers who vote in support of pro-agriculture legislation.

“I am very honored to be named to the Circle of Friends again this year. Protecting our agricultural industry, rural landscape and family farms is something I will continue to do,” said Norris.

Every year the New York Farm Bureau reviews state legislators’ voting records before designating their “Circle of Friends” list. This year, 77 lawmakers were named to the list, including Norris. The honor recognizes that a legislator has supported bills that the New York Farm Bureau considers of agricultural importance.

Norris has been named a “Circle of Friends” member every year since taking office in 2017.
