Norris Seeking Hometown Hero Nominees

Assemblyman Mike Norris (R,C,I,Ref-Lockport) is asking constituents of the 144th Assembly District to nominate extraordinary citizens who helped and/or still are helping protect our community against the coronavirus and making a difference in these tough times for his Hometown Heroes honorary program. The program is an effort by the assemblyman to recognize and thank the outstanding individuals living in our community who have gone above and beyond during the pandemic.

“There is no place I’d rather call home than Western New York, and during this pandemic I’ve never been more proud of our communities and the many outstanding individuals who have stepped up and helped. That’s the Western New York spirit, and what makes this part of the state so special. To honor that and the individuals who have gone above and beyond during this time, I hope you will join me by nominating someone you know for this honor,” said Norris.

Nominees can be a resident of any age from the 144th Assembly District, which is comprised of portions of Erie, Niagara and Orleans counties, and cannot be a candidate for public office. Both the nominee and person who made the nomination will be notified by mail, if they are selected. To nominate someone, please download the form at https://nyassembly.gov/mem/Michael-J-Norris/story/93472. For further questions, please contact Assemblyman Norris’ office at (716) 839-4691.
