Montesano Attends LIU Post Brand Launch Party

Assemblyman Michael Montesano (R, I, C – Glen Head) today joined state Senator Lee Zeldin, Oyster Bay Town Supervisor John Venditto and other state and local dignitaries at Long Island University President Dr. David Steinberg’s rebranding of LIU Post. The effort is part of a larger initiative to create a unified identity for the university’s six campuses through a new brand reaffirming the school’s student-centered focus and distinguishing it in the higher education field. A longtime proponent of higher education, Assemblyman Montesano was pleased to have such a prominent role in the ceremony.

“As the representative whose district covers the LIU Post campus, it was an honor and privilege to take part in today’s launch party,” Montesano said. “I’ve always felt that providing quality education for our children is one of the most important missions we face. LIU Post has long provided quality education to students and this rebranding effort will raise the university’s national profile and reputation to an even higher level.”
