All Aboard: Gray and JCPT Want Your Input on New $2 Bus Service

The bus is coming to Jefferson County and Assemblyman Scott Gray (R-Watertown) wants you at the table! Gray is proud to announce a series of Community Listening Sessions with the JCPT. This is your chance to get the inside scoop on the new service, ask questions, and tell JCPT exactly what your community needs. Don't miss it your voice will help shape the route!

JCPT is bringing $2 weekday bus rides to Jefferson County, connecting residents to work, school, recreation, and essential services. For those who don't live directly on the bus route, JCPT will connect riders with a volunteer driver who will bring them to the closest stop.

Below are the scheduled dates and venues for the informational sessions.

Monday, April 27

  • 11 a.m. — Bay View Estates, 11424 NY 12E, Chaumont

Tuesday, April 28

  • 10 a.m. — Hawn Memorial Library, 220 John St, Clayton
  • 2 p.m. — Paynter Center, 914 Strawberry Ln, Clayton
  • 6 p.m. — Lyme Free Library, 12165 NY-12E, Chaumont

Wednesday, April 29

  • 4 p.m. — Dexter Free Library, 120 E. Kirby St, Dexte

Thursday, April 30

  • 11 a.m. — Gordon Courts, 2 Margaret Ave, Alex Bay
  • 1 p.m. — MacSherry Library, 112 Walton St, Alex Bay

Friday, May 1

  • 11 a.m. — Aubrey Courts, 459 Bay St, Cape Vincent
  • 1 p.m. — Cape Vincent Library, 157 Real St, Cape Vincent

Wednesday, May 6th

  • 3 p.m. — Town of Orleans Library 36263 SR 180, LaFargeville
