Far Rockaway, NY – New York State Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato was invited to visit the construction site of Rabbi Sandler’s shul, Kehilas Beis Yisroel. She expressed joy upon seeing the shul being built as the congregation will finally have its own building. “I’m kvelling over the expansion of the Jewish community here in Far Rockaway!” said Assemblywoman Pheffer Amato, the only Jewish elected official in South Queens. The Assemblywoman reiterated her support of the project in any way.
