Queens NY – Assemblymember Steven Raga is pleased to announce the second annual partnership with the nonprofit, Urban Upbound, to offer free tax preparation services for anyone who earns $93,000 or less annually. Those who take advantage of this free service can maximize their refund eligibility and receive quality tax preparation services.

Residents can schedule a one-hour appointment with an IRS-certified tax preparer at Assemblymember Raga’s District Office (55-19 69th street, Maspeth 11377) every Saturday from February 1 to April 5, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. During this appointment, residents will receive free tax preparation services, screening for public benefits programs, and help enrolling in benefits if desired.

Assemblymember Steven Raga stated, “This partnership is about providing quality tax preparation services at no cost to New Yorkers so we can help individuals and families retain every dollar they’re entitled to. I strongly encourage eligible residents to take advantage of this free service and schedule their appointment by calling our office.”

To schedule an appointment, residents must call the district office at 718-651-3185. Residents will then be informed of what documents are required to bring during their appointment. Those interested are encouraged to call as soon as possible as appointment slots fill quickly.
