Earlier this month, Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay (R,C-Pulaski) joined the Village of Phoenix to honor Danny Dunn and celebrate his extraordinary 60 years of service as a firefighter, educator, and historian. Throughout his career, Dunn has made an unparalleled impact on the community, dedicating decades to various vital roles.

Leader Barclay sponsored a resolution recognizing Dunn’s outstanding contributions and dedication to the Phoenix Enterprise Fire Department which passed earlier this week.

From his service in the Army and Army Reserves to becoming a charter and lifetime member of the NYS Association of Fire Chiefs, Dunn’s achievements are vast. His efforts have profoundly affected fire safety education, both locally and statewide.
