Leader Barclay Honors Danny Dunn: 60 Years of Service to Phoenix Fire Department & Beyond
Earlier this month, Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay (R,C-Pulaski) joined the Village of Phoenix to honor Danny Dunn and celebrate his extraordinary 60 years of service as a firefighter, educator, and historian. Throughout his career, Dunn has made an unparalleled impact on the community, dedicating decades to various vital roles.
Leader Barclay sponsored a resolution recognizing Dunn’s outstanding contributions and dedication to the Phoenix Enterprise Fire Department which passed earlier this week.
From his service in the Army and Army Reserves to becoming a charter and lifetime member of the NYS Association of Fire Chiefs, Dunn’s achievements are vast. His efforts have profoundly affected fire safety education, both locally and statewide. Through his dedication, Danny Dunn has set a standard of excellence that continues to inspire future generations of first responders and community leaders.
