Please Help a Wounded Veteran - Brendan Marrocco

As an active member of the Siller Foundation, I have had the pleasure of traveling to Walter Reed Hospital and meeting Brendan Marrocco. After serving and sacrificing for his country, Brendan needs our help!

Brendan Marrocco of Huguenot, 23, was severely injured early on Easter Sunday in 2009 while returning to base after a night mission. Brendan's vehicle sustained a direct hit by an Explosive Fired Projectile (EFP) resulting in permanent and life changing injuries. He had joined the U.S. Army on January 15th, 2008. The Staten Island Academy graduate survived the explosion but each of his badly damaged limbs required amputation.

The Stephen Siller Children's Foundation in conjunction with Building Homes for Heroes and many other local contributors have announced they will build a home for SPC Brendan Marrocco, the 1st quadruple amputee to survive.

If you would like to help, you may call my office at 718-370-1384 or call the Siller Foundation at 718-987-1931.
