Mayor-elect de Blasio's choice of Dean Fuleihan as New York City's budget director is a brilliant one. I can say from first-hand experience that, having worked with him for more than 20 years, Dean will be an indispensable member of the de Blasio administration and his advice and counsel will be invaluable. I look forward to the Assembly and the City working closely together to craft a progressive agenda that will help support New York's most vulnerable citizens, address income inequality, and pave the way for greater economic opportunity for all.
