Legislative Reductions |
|
|
The Legislature reduces the Central Coordination and Support Program appropriation by $2,000,000 to reflect a re-estimate of nonpersonal service funding requirements. |
|
|
The Legislature reduces the Agency’s General Fund appropriation by $5,000,000 to reflect a re-estimate of Patient Income Account revenues received by the State in payment for services provided by State operated facilities. Such additional payments shall be used to reduce General Fund spending. |

|
The Legislature restores $11,868,000 to the Research in Mental Retardation Program appropriation to provide full funding for the Institute for Basic Research in Developmental Disabilities in order that the Institute’s research program can continue uninterrupted and so that services provided by the Jarvis Clinic can be maintained. |

The Legislature denies legislation that would close the Institute for Basic Research in Developmental Disabilities and eliminate research as part of the mission of the Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. |

The Legislature denies legislation that would eliminate the Youth Opportunity Program which provides part-time employment in State operated and not-for-profit agencies to disadvantaged young persons in danger of dropping out of high school. |
