|
The Legislature provides an additional $34,909,000 in funding to counties and New York City for capital projects through the Consolidated Highway Improvement Program (CHIPs). |
|
|
The Legislature denies the Executive proposal to increase the number of divisible load (heavyweight truck) permits issued by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and to revise the schedule of fees and fines associated with the permit system. |
|
|
The Legislature requests a report from the Comptroller on the Dedicated Highway and Bridge Trust Fund, from which most of DOT capital expenses are paid. The Legislature also imposes an expiration on the transfer of Department of Motor Vehicle revenue and operating expenses into the Dedicated Highway and Bridge Trust Fund. |
