David Aigen of Boy Scout Troop 427 of Stony Brook was recently honored for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest in Scouting. For his community service project, David thoughtfully planned and created a native Long Island garden at the Sweetbriar Nature Center using only species native to our area. Assemblyman Steve Englebright had the honor of presenting a Citation from the New York State Assembly to David at a ceremony held at the Messiah Lutheran Church in East Setauket.
