Assemblyman Ramos with Sean Flynn of the New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA)
March 3, 2004

Assemblyman Ramos with Sean Flynn of the New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA). Mr. Flynn came to Albany to discuss matters critical to quality health care in New York State, including: the governor’s proposed “sick tax” on nursing homes and hospitals, the $60 million cut from the Elderly Pharmaceutical Insurance Coverage program (EPIC), and $1.1 billion in cuts to Medicaid, which would mean a loss of 34,600 jobs and less access to health care coverage for low-income children and adults, the elderly, and disabled.
