McDonough Visits Harold D. Fayette Elementary School

Assemblyman Dave McDonough (R,C,I-Merrick) recently visited the fourth and fifth grade classes at Harold D. Fayette Elementary School. During his visit, McDonough discussed the similarities and differences between New York State government and federal government, the role of an assemblyman in state government, and how a bill becomes a law.

“The students at Harold D. Fayette Elementary School were incredibly knowledgeable, and it was a pleasure to speak with them,” said McDonough. “All the students were eager to share in the discussion, and they all knew a good deal about the different levels of government. I want to thank the teachers and Principal Howard Merims for providing me the opportunity to speak to the students. It was a pleasure to visit with everyone.”
