Montesano Urges the Governor to Follow Through On Promises of Fiscal Prudence
Assemblyman Michael A. Montesano (R,I,C-Glen Head) responds to State of the State Address
January 5, 2011
I am optimistic with Governor Cuomo’s message of fiscal accountability and responsibility. The governor has set a difficult path that will take both resolve and hard work. Rightsizing government, cutting spending, and reducing the burden on New York taxpayers are no longer options but necessary steps to put the state back on the path to progress. I am excited that the governor addressed these critical areas while laying out clear and concise plans to see them to fruition. I look forward to working with him on these important issues in the coming months.
